- Defending large international insurer on various claims involving disputes with managing general agent.
- Defending large financial institution in bankruptcy proceeding involving large coal/mineral dispute.
- Representing numerous thoroughbred horse farms in Kentucky on matters ranging from multi-million dollar syndication of stallions to employment concerns and collection of debts.
- Formation and subsequent representation of entities to race, breed and sell thoroughbred horses.
- Providing general business consultation to small and medium size business owners in the construction, thoroughbred and banking businesses.
- Representing local and national banking institutions in numerous matters ranging from defense of potential multi-million dollar lender liability claims, large commercial foreclosures, commercial loan negotiations, collection of commercial debts, bankruptcy/creditor rights issues.
- Providing services as qualified intermediary in numerous Section 1031 Tax-Free Exchanges in both forward and reverse exchange transactions.
- Providing negotiation, consultation and planning services to closely held entities with regard to the structure, succession plans and ultimate sale and disposition of businesses and business assets.
- Drafting of numerous employment and compensation contracts for businesses of all sizes.
- Representing local and county governments in employment, civil rights, zoning disputes and injury claims.
- Representation of developers and homeowners associations in zoning disputes and litigation.
- Certified mediator with experience in mediation and settlement of complex business disputes and equine matters.
