Area of Practice

Robert Stilz has focused his practice on corporate transactions and real estate since graduation from law school. He assists clients in handling a broad range of transactions, from business entity formation, financing, mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate transactions including the acquisition and disposition of investment grade property, development of commercial and high end residential complexes, office and retail leasing and a broad range of financing transactions.

Representative Experience

Acquisitions and Dispositions: emphasizes the formation of business entities, the acquisition of businesses and related properties and the related debt and equity structuring, including transactions in the equine and mineral industries.
Development: Represents developers and investors in all stages of development of retail centers, multifamily projects, industrial facilities and thoroughbred horse farms.
Finance: Represents a wide variety of financial institutions and institutional lenders in connection with debt transactions, permanent and construction financing and equine project financing.
Leasing: Negotiates and drafts office, retail, and agricultural leases.
